Neurosurgery ProFee Coder (Brain/Spine) - Remote

Overview

GeBBS is looking for a Neurosurgery E/M and surgery coder (brain and spine, but mostly spine) with at least 3 years’ experience in neurosurgery coding. This is a long-term, remote coding position with a flexible schedule and a collaborative and supportive team working 5-10 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current certification through AAPC or AHIMA required.
• 3+ years’ experience abstracting neurosurgery coding (CPT, E&M, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM).
• Experience with coding spinal procedures.
• Advanced technical knowledge in spinal neurosurgery.
• Experience in researching coding rules and regulations.
• Must have experience with data entry of codes.
• 95% accuracy rate required.
• US-Based Candidates Only.
