Data Scientist II - Product Analytics - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Data Scientist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Data Science, you will work alongside and provide technical guidance to a subset of our Analytics and Insights group and provide support to a few business lines including Industry and University Partnerships, and Content/Credentials supporting Product, Marketing, Content, Finance, Services, and more.

In Short

• Influence strategies and roadmaps for business units through actionable insights.
• Forecast content performance and inform content acquisition.
• Conduct A/B testing setups and reporting.
• Define metrics and goals, build and manage dashboards.
• Provide technical guidance to other Data Scientists.
• Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams.
• Analyze prospect behavior for content acquisition opportunities.
• Mentor junior Data Scientists and optimize analytical models.
• Run exploratory analyses and develop dashboards.
• Work on measuring growth initiatives in partnership with product and marketing teams.

Requirements

• Background in applied math, computer science, statistics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience using data to advise product or business teams.
• 2+ years of experience applying statistical inference techniques.
• Excellent business intuition and cross-functional communication skills.
• Strong applied statistics and data visualization skills.
• Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
