Overview

The 4-H Program Manager at Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County is responsible for managing and enhancing various 4-H Youth Leadership and Workforce Development Programs, including Animal Science and community programs.

In Short

• Manage 4-H Youth Leadership and Workforce Development Programs.
• Coordinate with 4-H Clubs and partner organizations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to 4-H volunteers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in teaching or presenting to youth and volunteers.
• Strong communication skills in oral and written forms.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate educational programs.
• Experience in volunteer management preferred.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
