Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support our growing finance function. This part-time role will begin at 20 hours per week with the opportunity to expand as business needs evolve. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and contract review, and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

In Short

• Oversee and perform month-end close processes
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Review customer and vendor contracts for accounting and compliance implications
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
• Support audit preparation and external reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts from an accounting perspective
• Availability during regular daytime business hours is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• QuickBooks Online experience is a plus
