Data Centre Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Convergint is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven, forward-thinking Data Centre Project Manager to join our fantastic culture. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, directing, application engineering, budgeting and procurement, and managing field installation, start-up, and close-out of assigned projects.

In Short

• Manage all aspects of project delivery from conception to completion.
• Handle financial control of projects, including variation orders and payment applications.
• Communicate project requirements and maintain accurate records.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely project completion.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Manage execution and review of scope of work and customer contracts.
• Mentor and develop colleagues within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards.
• Work in a hybrid environment with site attendance required.

Requirements

• Good project management experience in a technical environment.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good analytical and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills, including cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principles.
• Understanding of French construction processes and legislation.
• Proficient in English and French, both written and verbal.
