Overview

The aim of compliance-driven due diligence is to assess our clients’ actual or potential counterparties, looking for any issues that might pose a reputational or other risk to them.

In Short

• Work on a range of due diligence assignments, including corporate compliance/ABAC/ESG and financial crime/IPO/KYC projects.
• Conduct media and database research using complex search criteria.
• Liaise with in-country source networks for compliance-related information.
• Analyse search results within the context of the project and country.
• Distil conclusions and identify indirect connections from research findings.
• Rate findings based on risk assessment methodologies.
• Summarise findings in a report.
• Brief and present findings to internal colleagues when required.
• Collaborate with team members across the firm for joint projects.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge management base.
