MDS Nurse - Full Time Remote

Overview

The MDS Nurse supports Engage Consulting clients by providing a variety of tasks related to MDS completion, case mix review, and auditing services, focusing on regulatory compliance and reimbursement accuracy.

In Short

• Coordinate and submit mandated OBRA and Medicare MDS assessments.
• Develop and review resident-specific care plans.
• Attend key meetings in-person and remotely.
• Provide interim MDS completion services.
• Conduct technical reviews of audits for reimbursement accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical and regulatory standards.
• Assist Senior Practice Manager and Director of Clinical Consulting.
• Familiarity with EMR programs required.
• Work a hybrid schedule of remote and in-person.
• Exercise good judgment and portray the company's professional image.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum two years of MDS completion experience in a SNF.
• AAPACN Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of SNF Reimbursement and Billing Regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
