With our Research Project funded by Joachim Hertz Stiftung we are building a platform for amputees in India which is intended to systematically promote the exchange between patients. Technology-savvy patients are given access to reliable information about prosthetic fittings as well as testimonials from other patients so that they can make their own decisions independently and not solely based on medical recommendations. The aim is to reduce information asymmetries and to enable patients to make more informed decisions.

Functions such as sharing videos and photos enable patients to support each other, gain insights into life after an amputation and hope for their own future.

In Short

• You develop dynamic web-based platform for amputees.
• You create custom web applications that load quickly and work flawlessly in all browsers.
• You translate design into custom, interactive websites and apps.
• You develop responsive web prototypes with current LowCode technologies.
• You are the interface between UI/UX designer, backend developer, user and customer and always keep an eye on the technical feasibility.

Requirements

• You have an affinity for markup and programming languages, especially HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
• You have relevant experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
• You have experience with Flutter and/or FlutterFlow.
• You have experience with version control and development tools like Git.
• You have an understanding of optimizing web performance using development tools like Chrome DevTools.
• You are familiar with data services such as REST/RESTful APIs.
• You have a quick grasp of things, a high level of initiative and creativity.
• You enjoy working independently.
• You are reliable, resilient and motivated.
• You have good communication skills in English and/or German.
• Good skills in Hindi and a second Indian dialect is a plus.
