Community Outreach Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Expungement Community Outreach Coordinator will expand the reach and impact of the organization’s expungement program through strategic outreach, relationship-building, and community education connecting potential clients with CLA SoCal services provided by the Expungement Unit.

In Short

• Provide services to the reentry and Expungement community in specific counties.
• Assist with grant reporting and tracking grant deliverables.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies.
• Plan and attend outreach events.
• Collaborate with community partners.
• Maintain relationships with community organizations.
• Assist with developing educational materials.
• Screen clients for eligibility.
• Conduct community presentations.
• Monitor client acquisition goals.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency – Preferred.
• Knowledge of the criminal legal system – Preferred.
• Experience in community outreach or program coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and initiative-driven.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate with diverse communities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
