Senior Software Engineer - Kubernetes & Observability (Contract) - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for building out a backend that can query leading observability solutions.
• Create a data pipeline to transform that data into CloudZero's proprietary internal data layout.
• Prototype quickly to test out various technical approaches.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to understand desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with other engineers on the project.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Python.
• At least 8 years of experience building backend systems for a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience building on AWS, preferably with AWS Lambda.
• Proficient in retrieving data from observability solutions like Datadog or New Relic.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes constructs.
