Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for providing various accounting and financial support services, focusing on reconciling operational expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, and marketing accounts.

In Short

• Update prepaid expenses, fixed assets, operational expenses, and marketing expense reconciliations.
• Update departmental accruals for services incurred but not yet invoiced.
• Perform daily reconciliation of operational expenses, prepaid expenses, and capex spend activities.
• Prepare month-end expense allocation entries and corresponding allocation methodology calculations.
• Record journal entries with accurate support and documentation.
• Prepare month-end account reconciliations over assigned accounts.
• Assist in the completion of annual financial statement audit.
• Identify and assist in resolving financial statement control gaps.
• Provide feedback on potential areas of process improvement.
• Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.
