Infrastructure Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

As a member of our Infrastructure team you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting our product.

In Short

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, efficient, and secure infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with Security engineers for infrastructure security.
• Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Identify and diagnose future bottlenecks, working with product teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in an Infrastructure role.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Golang.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare infrastructure and edge computing technology.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive solutions.
• Deep knowledge of database management and optimization.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Expertise in monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
