Overview

We are seeking a Client Service Associate - Hybrid Remote at our downtown Norfolk, Virginia wealth management firm. This position is responsible for providing support to a Private Client Wealth Management Team.

In Short

  • Oversee client interaction and assist in creation of business plans with Financial Advisors.
  • Work directly with service team at Schwab to troubleshoot problems.
  • Coordinate investment account activity at Schwab.
  • Assist with administration of alternative investments.
  • Manage meeting logistics and client meeting materials.
  • Assist in office organization and document management.
  • Work with office administrators for a high functioning office environment.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with alternative investments is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the investment, insurance or trust administration fields.
  • Experience with Orion, Salesforce or Schwab systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook).
  • Passion for client service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
