Associate Director/Director of Finance and Operations - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director/Director of Finance and Operations is a key leadership role at Civitas Networks for Health, responsible for the overall management and execution of the organization’s financial, human resources, and operational functions.

In Short

• Lead internal operations including finance and accounting, compliance, HR administration, and technology systems.
• Serve as the primary liaison with outsourced accounting and audit vendors.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations such as accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare regular financial reports for leadership and the Board.
• Design and improve operational systems and workflows.
• Act as the internal point of contact for HR functions.
• Manage benefits and compensation administration.
• Champion equitable HR practices.
• Work in a fully remote environment with occasional travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in nonprofit finance and operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit financial management.
• Experience managing HR systems and vendor relationships.
• High proficiency with Sage Intacct, BILL, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
