Financial Planning and Analysis Intermediate Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis Intermediate Analyst is responsible for analyzing Citi’s financial results and providing insights in coordination with the broader Finance team.

In Short

• Analyze financial performance of Citi and its competitors.
• Coordinate annual planning and periodic forecasting processes.
• Generate reports for Board of Directors and Executive Management.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to address strategic issues.
• Participate in Quarterly Competitor Reviews and Investment Reports.
• Assist in evaluating proposed business decisions using metrics.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for senior management.
• Drive FP&A transformation efforts for continuous improvement.
• Build relationships across finance and business organizations.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Self-motivated with a focus on timely delivery.
• Interpersonal skills to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Professional degree equivalent to CA/MBA/BMS preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential.
