Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quality tester (Automation) to join our team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in modernizing a large-scale messaging platform for a leading global player in the aviation industry.

In Short

• Define and implement a test strategy aligned with the Test Pyramid principles.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services.
• Ensure high-quality standards through test planning, test case creation, and execution.
• Work in a DevOps-oriented environment, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define test scenarios.
• Monitor and analyze test results, tracking quality metrics and software coverage evolution.
• Support and mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to apply it effectively.
• Solid experience in test planning strategies and writing test cases/scenarios.
• Strong test automation experience, especially for backend services with tools like Cypress.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
