Overview

ChargeLab is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join one of our dynamic development pods. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who excels in React and has substantial backend expertise, particularly with Java or another object-oriented programming language, within a microservice, event-driven architecture.

In Short

Join a cross-functional pod of 5–8 engineers.
Lead the charge in delivering high-quality, rapid releases.
Provide technical guidance within your pod and across the engineering team.
Focus on improving the quality and frequency of feature releases.
Work with a distributed microservice architecture using Java.
Develop the frontend in React.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and architecture teams.
Mentor engineers on your team and throughout the organization.
Track KPI centered around code quality and team efficiency.
Participate in biannual onsite events called ChargeFest.

Requirements

Experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a track record of building and delivering products.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field.
Strong experience in front-end development using React.
Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with microservice, event-driven architectures.
A passion for collaboration and building partnerships across teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A passion for mentoring peers and fostering a learning environment.
Prior experience in B2B or B2C SaaS is strongly preferred.
Experience with AWS is preferred.
