Senior Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Project Manager is the commercial and execution owner for a portfolio of electrical construction projects, or for large, complex individual projects. This role is directly accountable for margin performance, forecast accuracy, cash flow, change management, and risk mitigation, and sets the standard for disciplined, repeatable project delivery across the company.

• Accountable for project P&L performance, margin protection, and recovery.
• Lead execution of multiple concurrent projects with full ownership.
• Implement and maintain disciplined project controls.
• Develop and execute recovery plans when performance deviates from the plan.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of job cost and financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Set the standard for disciplined delivery and accountability.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and long-lead equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
• Formal project management training or certification preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Project Management experience.
• 10+ years of progressive project leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in electrical environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and estimating fundamentals.
• Change management and scope defense experience.
• Ability to work extended hours as required by project demands.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Formal project management training or certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
