Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced Senior Weapon Artist to work on Cyberpunk: Orion, the follow up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next game in the franchise. As a Senior Weapon Artist, you will contribute to an immersive player experience by designing and modelling memorable weapons of the Cyberpunk universe.

In Short

• Craft high-quality 3D models of weapons and props.
• Interpret detailed weapon concepts and bring them to life.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure consistency.
• Build and refine workflows for weapon creation in Unreal Engine.
• Write briefs and create documentation for development partners.
• Mentor fellow artists on modeling best practices.
• Apply strong texturing skills to polish every detail.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in games, focusing on hardsurface modeling.
• Experience working on AAA titles.
• Strong eye for form, proportion, scale, and material definition.
• Proficiency with Blender and Substance Painter.
• Knowledge of weapon design across different eras and genres.
• Understanding of gameplay needs and art's contribution to mechanics.
• Open and collaborative mindset.
