In Short

• Building trusting relationships with clients to ease effective care and support.
• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks.
• Aiding with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Ability to multi-task, self-directed, suitable time management skills, courteous, and common sense.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of patient demographics.
• Able to work independently.
• Bring happiness and peace of mind to the elderly and those with disabilities.
• Document/report any changes in client's health status.
• Ensure client safety and well-being.
• Document and track job duties via electronic visit verification.

Requirements

• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory criminal background check.
• First Aid/CPR Certificate obtained prior to employment (required).
• Defensive Driving Certificate or obtained within the first month of employment.
• 1 year of direct care experience or equivalent educational experience (preferred).
• Practices good hygiene and is neat in personal appearance (required).
• Fluent in English - reading, writing, and speaking (required).
• Successfully pass clearance and reference checks (required).
• Able to obtain 2 step negative TB test and physical (required).
