Overview

The Deputy Compliance Director is responsible for ensuring clients adhere to FEC and state reporting guidelines while managing financial and bookkeeping tasks.

• Manage a portfolio of clients in the connected division.
• Oversee accounts payable and payroll for clients.
• Prepare FEC and state reports.
• Conduct detailed reviews of FEC reports for quality control.
• Resolve client issues and serve as a point of contact for budget and financial management.
• Contribute to team members’ work products and manage quality control.
• Support team members with FEC and state reporting processes.
• Advise on compliance-related issues with fundraising and communications.
• Supervise team members and conduct performance reviews.
• 100% remote position with optional office visits in DC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in campaign finance and regulations.
