Billing Analyst, Client Financial Operations - Remote

Overview

This Analyst role is a critical position for Client Financial Operations and will partner with other internal departments. The individual must have a strong financial background in PBM and be comfortable working with Excel and SQL formulas to efficiently run processes.

In Short

• Lead comprehensive billing processes by analyzing inbound data from multiple sources.
• Manage billing across various lines of business including commercial and government health plans.
• Prepare and issue invoices based on predefined billing schedules.
• Enter billing data into financial systems and verify accuracy.
• Reconcile billing records between internal platforms.
• Review internal documentation to confirm billable items.
• Assist with internal audits by providing accurate billing records.
• Maintain organized records of billing activities.
• Utilize SQL or other data query applications for journal entries.
• Follow established billing procedures and escalate discrepancies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or quantitative field.
• 2+ years of related experience in finance, data analysis, or accounting.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills.
• Ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
