Overview

The Outpatient CDI Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, direction, and subject matter expertise in outpatient clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) risk adjustment.

In Short

  • Provide subject matter expertise in CDI and HCC.
  • Drive training and provider education initiatives.
  • Utilize clinical experience for program success.
  • Oversee documentation accuracy and quality improvement.
  • Support risk adjustment initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4 years of outpatient CDI experience.
  • 2 years of leadership experience in outpatient CDI risk adjustment.
  • 5 years of outpatient CDI/HCC risk adjustment experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact jurisdiction.
  • Certifications: CCDS-O, CRC, CPC, COC, or CCS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical job functions as required.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to maintain sensory functions required for the role.
