Overview

The Application Analyst II, Clinical, supports MUSC’s academic, research, and healthcare missions by providing operational, consultative, and collaborative functions within the Information Solutions team.

In Short

  • Reports to the leader of the clinical applications team.
  • Assists with the implementation and maintenance of clinical programs.
  • Provides proactive and reactive support to end users.
  • Participates in team and project meetings.
  • Leads designated projects and assists with onboarding of new hires.
  • Exhibits excellent customer service skills.
  • Maintains system updates and supports operational end users.
  • Contributes to intelligent solutions for improved efficiency.
  • Requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Background in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science preferred.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma with six years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience, or a Master's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Preferred experience with EPIC Beaker builder.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks related to the job.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work in a latex safe environment.
