Brand Designer (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Brand Designer who can craft visual identity systems for bio and deep tech startups, creating brands that not only look stunning but also tell a deeper story about our clients' technologies.

In Short

• Work on brand identity systems for bio and deep tech startups.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director on conceptualization and moodboarding.
• Develop various brand directions exploring different concepts and visual styles.
• Participate in client review calls to present brand directions.
• Build out cohesive brand systems for various applications.
• Create and package brand guidelines and logo files for designers.
• Work approximately 10-20 hours per week on a contract basis.
• Remote work with ~3 hours overlap with EST required.
• Communicate primarily via Slack and Loom.
• Provide a portfolio showcasing relevant brand projects.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand design skills.
• Experience in creating visual identity systems.
• Ability to conceptualize and moodboard effectively.
• Proficient in logo design, typography, and color theory.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.
• Experience in digital and print design.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with asynchronous communication tools.
• Bonus points for experience in biotech or deep tech.
