Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Brinqa is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to assist in building risk management solutions as part of our Cybersecurity Risk Platform. We are looking for a senior engineer who can work closely with our Platform Team, other members of the Engineering Operations Teams, and customers to efficiently deploy scalable and reliable software systems.

In Short

• Collaborate with development teams on platform development, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build/deployment processes.
• Automate mundane tasks to enhance strategic development focus.
• Build highly observable systems for proactive performance reporting.
• Resolve critical customer issues to improve satisfaction and renewal rates.
• Work with security teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Participate in incident response and management as a First Responder.
• Champion processes for team-led work planning and delivery.
• Assist in team building through talent identification and recruiting.
• Participate in incident postmortems to analyze root causes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Linux systems administration and scripting (JavaScript, Python, Bash).
• 5+ years designing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• 3+ years with monitoring software (Datadog, Elastic Stack, New Relic).
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Experience with security and privacy compliance standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
