Yard Operator - Remote

Overview

The Yard Operator will be responsible for receiving, handling, and dispatching supplies while ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.

• Receive deliveries and ensure safe handling of supplies.
• Load and dispatch vehicles according to operational procedures.
• Handle and store chemical products safely.
• Fill and blend products as per operational procedures.
• Build loads to meet customer and depot orders.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the yard and warehouses.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the line manager after training.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the chemical industry (desirable).
• Health and Safety (H&S) experience.
• Flexible and able to work within a team.
• Able to follow H&S procedures and standards.
• Effective communication skills.
