Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for adhering to safety practices, meeting production requirements, and maintaining equipment while ensuring a clean working environment.

In Short

• Adhere to safety practices established within the company.
• Meet or exceed production requirements based on equipment used.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate record keeping within the department.
• Repackage product into proper containers.
• Conduct product sampling and quality control.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Load/unload tankers as needed.
• Receive hazardous waste management training.
• Willingness to accept overtime and work various shifts.

Requirements

• Good safety and attendance record.
• Understanding of customer service and cooperation with other departments.
• Certified knowledge of forklift operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations.
• Good math, bookkeeping, and organizational skills.
• Computer skills to perform job requirements efficiently.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies.
• Ability to follow process descriptions applicable to the job.
• Willingness to work overtime and be available for call-ins.
