Bragi is a leader in the AI headphone space, focusing on innovative technology and user experience. We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our R&D team in Shenzhen, China, to help build and enhance our software capabilities.

• Work remotely while being based in Shenzhen, China.
• Analyze requirements from vendors and Bragi.
• Integrate and validate firmware and mobile middleware.
• Develop advanced Android applications and libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new features.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Debug, refactor, and improve performance of applications.
• Ensure software reliability through testability focus.
• Communicate effectively with teams in Europe.
• Support ODMs and test engineers in the certification program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.
• Deep knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming.
• Experience with specific chipsets and Bluetooth protocols.
• Understanding of mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of Reactive programming is a plus.
• Previous experience with wearables or IoT devices is a plus.
