Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Remote Consignment Sales Consultant to join our marine dealership team. This remote position plays a critical role in managing the entire consignment sales process—from intake to final sale—ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both sellers and buyers of consigned boats, trailers, and related marine equipment.

In Short

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients interested in consigning their boats, trailers, and related marine equipment.
• Conduct consultations via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Actively promote and secure sales contracts for consigned inventory.
• Maintain accurate digital records of consigned inventory.
• Facilitate negotiations and guide buyers and sellers through the sales process.
• Provide outstanding virtual support to buyers and sellers.
• Oversee digital documentation of all consigned inventory and contracts.
• Coordinate remotely with internal sales and service teams.
• Contribute to overall sales goals through strong communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in retail or consignment sales is highly desirable.
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong sales and customer service abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
