Overview

As a Blackbird Behavioral Health Department Manager, you will provide leadership for a behavioral health team, ensuring quality standards are met while delivering excellent clinical care.

In Short

• Lead a behavioral health team under the direction of the Director.
• Provide administrative support and facilitate clinical supervision.
• Ensure quality standards in clinical care are met.
• Manage therapists’ productivity and caseload standards.
• Provide training and ongoing education for therapists.
• Address patient and family concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on performance issues.
• Support recruitment and retention of therapist talent.
• Provide clinical supervision for pre-licensure staff.
• Work in a hybrid model of in-person and telework.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• PA/VA license to practice psychotherapy.
• 3 years' experience as a licensed therapist.
• Ability to supervise pre-licensed therapists.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Commitment to a collaborative work environment.
