BJM Group is a network of local accounting firms throughout the southeast US. We provide top-notch accounting, tax, auditing, bookkeeping, and advisory services; and we are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team.

In Short

• Perform audits on various financial records.
• Supervise and train audit staff.
• Prepare and organize workpapers for financial statements.
• Compile audit engagement reports and perform risk assessments.
• Research applicable issues and provide guidance.
• Identify audit scope, staff requirements, timetable, and budget.
• Utilize firm resources for increased efficiency.
• Ensure procedures are updated and communicated to staff.
• Work independently and meet deadlines.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

• CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Five years of recent Public Accounting experience.
• Experience with compilations, reviews, and audits.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with audit software preferred.
• Organized, proactive, and deadline-driven.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of financial data.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
