Head of Clinical Operations - Remote

Overview

Biolojic Design is seeking a Head of Clinical Operations. This is a remote position based out of our state-of-the-art facility on Children’s National Hospital’s Research and Innovation Campus in Washington, DC. Candidates should be located on the East Coast of the United States.

In Short

• Lead and supervise all activities related to clinical operations.
• Manage and execute clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
• Oversee participating study sites and manage vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Implement innovative processes to improve clinical trial management.
• Manage budget negotiations and track expenses.
• Participate in the development of Clinical Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Provide oversight of activities related to site identification and monitoring.
• Support audits of sites and vendors.
• Organize training sessions for clinical study teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical trial experience.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical program management.
• Thorough knowledge of drug development processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing Phase 1-2 trials.
• Expertise with Electronic Data Capture Systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to travel at least monthly.
