BioBus is a nonprofit organization based in New York City dedicated to helping K-12 and college students discover, explore, and pursue science, particularly those who have been historically excluded from the scientific community due to race, gender, economic status, or physical access. Since its inception in 2008, BioBus has reached over 400,000 students across more than 1,000 schools, primarily in NYC public and charter schools. The organization provides students with opportunities to connect with diverse scientists, learn essential lab and research skills, and engage in science communication, all aimed at fostering the next generation of scientists and problem-solvers. BioBus promotes a creative and inclusive work environment, encouraging staff to contribute ideas and shape the organization's direction while offering flexible work schedules and a supportive culture.
