In Short

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Japanese accounting standards.
• Regularly reconcile exchange accounts, bank accounts, crypto wallets, and general ledger.
• Manage the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency transactions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide analysis on financial performance and insights into cost-saving opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with local and global regulatory requirements for cryptocurrencies.
• Handle all tax-related matters including preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Work closely with the global finance team and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or CPA certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, including Big Four audit experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
