Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Analyst - Remote

Overview

Baptist Health is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Analyst to ensure accurate billing for various pharmacy accounts and collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to optimize revenue capture and compliance.

In Short

• Ensure billing accuracy for inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services.
• Collaborate with accounts receivable for prompt billing and payment auditing.
• Analyze and correct claims data to reduce denials and underpayments.
• Review clinical documentation for accurate coding compliance.
• Assist in contract negotiations and payment modeling.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy revenue cycle scorecards and KPIs.
• Provide education on coding and billing practices to stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Work with IT to implement software upgrades related to billing.
• Ensure timely completion of all coding tasks.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing.
• 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare billing.
• Strong knowledge of coding and general ledger accounts.
• Required certifications: HCS-D, HCS-O, or COS-C.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and billing teams.
• Experience with CDM maintenance is preferred.
• Direct healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
