Authorization Clerk - Remote

Overview

The CES Authorization Clerk is responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining service authorizations related to Community Employment Services (CES) at Benchmark Human Services. This role ensures individuals in CES programs receive timely and accurate authorizations for the services they need.

• Located near Richmond, Fort Wayne, South Bend, or Indianapolis, IN
• Review, verify, and process CES service authorization requests
• Ensure documentation meets requirements
• Maintain authorization data in internal systems
• Track authorization timelines and expirations
• Communicate with staff and external agencies
• Maintain records in compliance with standards
• Support audits and compliance procedures
• Provide general administrative support

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of administrative or data-entry experience
• Experience in community employment services preferred
• Familiarity with authorization procedures preferred
• Understanding of person-centered practices preferred
• Must be located in designated Indiana cities
