WebSphere Administrator - Remote

Overview

The WebSphere Administrator will be responsible for configuring, installing, and administering WebSphere Application Server and related products, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Configure and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience with Linux - Red Hat and UrbanCode Deploy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in WebSphere administration.
• Understanding of web servers like Tomcat or Apache.
• Experience with clustering and load balancing.
• Knowledge of server shell scripting in a Windows environment.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with COTS products such as Informatica and Oracle Policy Automation.
• Strong background in server administration and network configuration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-6 years of WebSphere Administrator experience.
• Strong understanding of server configurations for large JEE applications.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Good understanding of HTML UI, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Any OS certifications are a plus.
• Product administration experience for large complex COTS is a plus.
• Exposure to configuring proxies.
• Strong experience designing n-tier architectures.
• Good understanding of build and deploy procedures.
