In Short

• Responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of the backend.
• Development and implementation of new features including automated tests.
• Refactoring existing codebase.
• Bug fixing and contributing to stable, performant systems.
• Maintenance and creation of technical documentation.
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews and pair programming.
• Close collaboration with other developers from the Video and DevSysOps team.
• Responsibility for the RESTful API.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in backend development with PHP and Laravel.
• Solid knowledge in deployment, maintenance, and documentation of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with unit and HTTP tests.
• Very good knowledge of relational databases (preferably MariaDB).
• Passion for clean code and scalable software architecture.
• Proficient use of Git.
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
