DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Arcus FM are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, helping to bridge the gap between development and operations. You’ll play a key role in automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and optimising the software delivery process.

In Short

• Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment
• Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools
• Managing AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable, cost-effective solutions
• Collaborating cross-functionally to support smooth product launches and updates
• Monitoring environments and applications to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
• Ensuring security and compliance through best practices in secrets management, access control, and vulnerability remediation
• Participating in incident management, including root cause analysis and out-of-hours support

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Docker
• Solid grasp of CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python
• Background in Linux/Unix system administration
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• An automation-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
