Overview

The Virtual Arkansas Agentic Designer independently scripts, designs, and develops high-quality digital curriculum content while strategically using AI tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and creativity. This role blends the responsibilities of a Content Designer and Content Developer, providing end-to-end ownership of course creation. The Agentic Designer ensures all content meets Virtual Arkansas standards for accessibility, mastery learning, copyright compliance, and branding.

In Short

• Part-Time, Temporary position
• Reports to Director of Design, Development, & Project Management
• Contract length from January to December 2026
• Collaborate with specialists and agencies for digital curriculum content
• Use AI tools for lesson scripts and assessments
• Create accessible and copyright-compliant content
• Build course content into the LMS
• Attend planning and design meetings
• Review all content for accuracy and legality
• Prioritize and adapt to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's degree desired
• Three years of blended/online teaching experience desired
• Experience in online course development and design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in digital tools and LMS environments
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated content
• Strong organizational skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Teacher Licensure for requested content area
