Structural Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Structural Engineer at Arcadis, you will play an important role in our Engineering & Construction Management team, amplifying your skills in structural design, technical analysis, and project management.

In Short

• Perform structural design or DL activities across various building sectors
• Engage in technical due diligence, energy transition, and data center projects
• Ensure compliance with Italian regulations and building codes
• Manage documentation for building permissions and Genio Civile coordination
• Collaborate within our multidisciplinary design teams for solid structural solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of structural design experience including seismic design
• A BSc or MSc in Civil, Structural Engineering
• Fluency in Italian and Excellent knowledge of English (B2/C1)
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS360
• Proficiency working with FEM software, Midas Gen preferred
• Thorough knowledge of Italian structural regulations
• Experience with Building Permissions procedures and Genio Civile submissions
• Familiarity with Eurocodes will be considered a plus
• Experience with seismic vulnerability studies, retrofit design and geotechnical design will be considered a plus
• Ability to maintain productivity during remote-work scenarios
