Principal Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer – Solids Handling and Biogas/RNG focused to join our growing Resilience Water team. The ideal candidate may sit in or near any of the locations posted with Philadelphia, PA being preferred.

In Short

• Lead and manage design teams for water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Execute design and construction engineering activities.
• Participate in client development and proposal efforts.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff.
• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams.
• Travel for client meetings and project site visits.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Support the Philadelphia office and national team engagement.
• Work on sustainable solutions for water resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
• PE License in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• Flexible to work with different project teams.
• 15+ years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Experience with alternative project delivery methods preferred.
