Overview

Arcadis is looking for an experienced constructor with a focus on maritime and hydraulic constructions to work on multidisciplinary projects in the Netherlands and abroad.

In Short

• Specialist in concrete and steel constructions such as quay walls, jetties, and locks.
• Design and assess constructions according to current standards and guidelines.
• Work on both wet and dry infrastructure projects.
• Utilize design software and Finite Element packages like SCIA and RFEM.
• Involved in all project phases from feasibility to execution design.
• Collaborate with a team of young and experienced professionals.
• Focus on automation in construction design.
• Participate in complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Work in a cooperative and open culture.

Requirements

• Completed academic or HBO education in civil engineering with a specialization in structural hydraulic engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience as a constructor.
• Experience with SCIA and MathCad.
• Familiarity with other EEM packages like RFEM, DIANA, or LS Dyna is a plus.
• Affinity with programming (Python, Dynamo) is a plus.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
