Overview

You will coordinate (water) soil research and contribute to sustainable soil flows and circularity within the soil sector.

In Short

  • Coordinate large-scale (water) soil research for ground, road, and water construction projects.
  • Facilitate sustainable application of soil flows and circular building materials.
  • Conduct literature research on the composition and environmental impact of lesser-known building materials.
  • Provide strategic advice on the reorganization of sand extraction sites.
  • Work on multidisciplinary projects with a focus on sustainability and environmental quality.
  • Coach young professionals in the team.
  • Engage in all project phases from initiation to realization.
  • Communicate complex soil knowledge in an understandable way.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable practices in the construction sector.
  • Participate in international conferences and symposia.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree in land and water management, earth sciences, civil engineering, or environmental sciences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and good command of English.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards challenges in the field.
  • Experience in project leadership is a plus.
