Overview

You will contribute to integral and socially relevant soil challenges within an experienced team, thereby improving the quality of our living environment.

In Short

• Coordinate and execute various types of soil research and monitoring.
• Assess the urgency of soil issues and create Conceptual Site Models for complex cases.
• Advise on the necessity of remediation measures considering legislation and environmental policies.
• Develop remediation approaches and translate them into cost estimates.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams on urban redevelopment and remediation tasks.
• Engage in integral projects in rural areas, addressing soil challenges related to infrastructure and nature development.
• Work on complex issues for industry, business, and government.
• Proactively address future soil challenges, including sustainable underground design.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and development within the team.
• Contribute to a skilled and diverse work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a commercial and project-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as Soil Protection Act and Environmental Act.
• Experience in geohydrology, civil engineering, or geotechnics is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
