Overview

Aquia is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, delivery, and user-centered innovation for a mission-critical VA.gov digital service aimed at improving the experience of Veterans filing for disability benefits.

In Short

• Lead product management for disability benefits application features on VA.gov.
• Own the product roadmap and align goals with VA OCTO’s priorities.
• Translate user needs into actionable product features using research and feedback.
• Drive delivery of high-quality, accessible digital tools that meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for cohesive progress.
• Maintain reliability and data integrity, minimizing production issues.
• Identify and resolve blockers to progress and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure product meets high accessibility and usability standards.
• Leverage research to prioritize work that drives value to Veterans.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management within public sector or healthcare.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful digital products in agile teams.
• Strong user empathy balancing business, technical, and user needs.
• Experience managing complex forms and workflows in web applications.
• Familiarity with federal digital service practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience in remote work environments across US timezones.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems, documentation platforms, and user analytics.
