Clinical Research Senior Medical Director, Inflammation - Remote

Overview

In this vital role, you will serve as a clinical expert to provide clinical/scientific knowledge into the development, delivery, and communication of the global scientific/medical evidence plan for the indication(s) in the inflammation therapeutic area.

In Short

• Lead clinical trial(s) and develop strategies for patient enrollment.
• Provide oversight of Patient Impact Expansion (PIE) clinical development.
• Support cross-functional collaborations integrating medical, regulatory, and commercial insights.
• Interpret and communicate clinical trial data effectively.
• Author and review clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Develop key opinion leaders and present at scientific meetings.
• Identify new clinical research opportunities.
• Support in-licensing and out-licensing activities.
• Contribute clinical content to materials for Scientific Affairs and Commercial Organization.
• Approximate 10% travel may be required.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• 5 years of clinical research and/or basic science research experience.
• 5 years of managerial experience managing teams or projects.
• Clinical development experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in development lifecycle management.
• Key relationship development with commercial and medical teams.
• Management experience of clinical development professionals preferred.
• Board certification in relevant sub-specialty is a plus.
• Experience in filing activities for development programs.
• Strong scientific communication skills.
