The Director, U.S. Rare Disease Communications is responsible for shaping and driving U.S. strategy for Amgen’s Rare Disease therapeutic area, focusing on key products TEPEZZA and KRYSTEXXA. This role involves developing communications strategies to support patient and healthcare professional engagement.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of Corporate Communications experience, or Master’s degree and 7 years, or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years.
• 7-10 years of experience in Corporate Affairs in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
• Superior verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
• Strong project management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to think analytically and creatively in dynamic environments.
• Experience in developing strategic communication plans.
• Curious nature and willingness to innovate.
