Advocacy Intern - Remote

Overview

The Advocacy Intern will support initiatives related to the work of various departments at the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, engaging in integrated advocacy to expand civil liberties and civil rights.

In Short

• Conduct research on issues, campaigns, and policies.
• Support the writing of advocacy and educational materials.
• Assist in public education campaigns and local events.
• Help with outreach opportunities and event staffing.
• Provide support for non-profit operations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in civil liberties, civil rights, and social justice.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with project management skills.
